The composition workshop Komponieren in HIMMLISCHER HÖHE itself is divided into several phases:
Three-day workshop in Linz | February 9-11, 2024
In this workshop with reflective talks and discussions, various aspects of Bruckner's musical work will be studied with sound artist Sam Auinger, Domorganist Wolfgang Kreuzhuber and Domkapellmeister Andreas Peterl.
Three-day composition stays in Linz | Dates to be arranged individually between February and June 2024.
There is the opportunity to compose on the work to be submitted above the roofs of Linz in the solitude of the Türmerstube in Mariendom Linz at a height of 68 meters for three days.
Delivery of the compositions in digital form | June 15, 2024
By the deadline, the sheet music of the finalized works must be made available digitally in a legible, non-handwritten form and in a sufficient number of parts.
Premiere of the compositions in Linz | October 17, 2024
The world premiere of the works created as part of the composition workshop Komponieren in HIMMLISCHER HÖHE will be performed by a professional vocal ensemble as part of a presentation concert in Mariendom Linz.
